Project Manager

AD&V® is looking for a Project Manager to join our growing and talented Project Management Team. This person will be responsible for effectively managing projects and executing them from A to Z. This includes initiating, planning, facilitating, executing, monitoring, and delivering projects within the project’s scope, time, quality, and budget considerations to ensure goals and objectives are met as well as client satisfaction. This position is perfect for you if…

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.

  • You have a minimum of eight or more years’ relevant experience in the Architecture or Construction Industry.

  • You are bilingual: English and Spanish.

  • You have strong Professional References.

  • You possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.

  • You have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Project or similar management software.

  • You have software proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Lumion.

  • You have proven working experience in Project Management.

Your responsibilities will include…

  • Planning, organizing, and executing multiple projects at the same time. 

  • Serving as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and the client’s satisfaction.  

  • Actively managing client budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments. 

  • Coordinating all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.  

  • Always maintaining constant and open communication with the design team, production team, construction team, consultants, client, and relevant project stakeholders. 

  • Reporting weekly to AD&V’S Principals and Senior Project Manager on the performance of projects. 

  • Scheduling and holding regular project meetings. 

  • Maintaining, updating, and distributing project data and information. 

  • Holding each member of the team accountable for their responsibilities in project delivery. 

  • Knowing the status of the work at all times. 

  • Scheduling consultants’ deliverables to allow for studio team ample time for quality checks (control). 

  • Reviewing project documents before they are submitted to the client in each project phase as an added layer of quality control to uncover any mistakes or omissions by the project team. 

  • Attending design reviews, project coordination, and quality management meetings for the project. 

  • Measuring project performance against projections. 

  • Conducting post-project evaluations to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. 

  • Maintaining professional relationships with clients, consultants, and other relevant stakeholders. 

  • Ensuring projects are profitable.  

  • Working with AD&V’s leadership in the implementation, monitoring, and documentation of effective project management processes and systems. 

  • Working with AD&V’s COO and Accounting department in the preparation of billings.  

  • Working with AD&V’s Principals and Business Development department in the preparation of project proposals and contracts. 

  • Researching and finding solutions when necessary. 

  • Working toward AD&V’s vision and goals.
