AD&V® Gives Back after Hurricane Maria

On 2017 Puerto Rico suffered two natural disasters, first Hurricane Irma and later Hurricane María. As part of the ongoing AD&V® Cares program, our team collaborated through different organizations’ efforts in helping to rebuild our beautiful island.

The AD&V® Team worked with Habitat for Humanity of Puerto Rico were we donated the design and participated in the reconstruction of a single family home located in Villa Prades.

We also collaborated with Habitat for Humanity of Puerto Rico at their initial Disaster Response Events that took place right after the hurricanes on different Municipalities around the island. Here, we provided orientation on the installation of the roof tarps that were included inside the kits that Habitat donated to the communities, as well as safety instructions, and basic construction tips. The kits, which included all the tools that were needed to install the roof tarps, were given to families that lost their roofs during the hurricane.

AD&V® also volunteered with the American Red Cross in Utuado in helping to distribute first necessity supplies to the community.
